Hurricane made with Camp Craft Brunch Punch

Of course, this strong  iconic Mardi Gras drink has to call out to the scary thing, a hurricane. Enjoy this drink when you are not worrying about or preparing for CAT 4 or 5 winds. If you are worried it’s booziness will blow you down, split the recipe with a storm-weathered friend.

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1)

2     ounces light rum infused Camp Craft Brunch Punch
2     ounces dark rum
2     ounces passion fruit juice
1     ounce orange juice
½     ounce lime juice
1.5   tablespoon Camp Simple Citrus flavor
1     glass crushed ice
1     orange slice (half moon)

PREPARATION

Step 1

Fill Brunch Punch Camp Craft Cocktails kit with light rum, and cap tightly. Shake thoroughly. Leave in refrigerator for 3 days (Don’t have 3 days? Microwave your infusion without the lid. Heat but never boil. Allow to cool.).

Step 2

Fill your hurricane glass to the top with crushed ice.

Step 3

Strain 2 ounces of rum infused Brunch Punch into a mixing glass filled with ice. Add remaining  ingredients and stir for 20 seconds.

Step 4

Strain contents of mixing glass into the hurricane glass. Top with orange slice.

 

Canal Street Daisy made with Camp Craft Flo’Rita

ACTIVE TIME: 3 Minutes
TOTAL TIME:  3 Minutes

If you were really on Rue du Canal (Canal Street) at Mardi Gras, you would be in a glorious crowd. This light and bright sipper would help you keep up with this day-drinking party.

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1)

½      ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
½      ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
1½     ounce bourbon infused Camp Craft Flo’Rita
1      glass with ice
3      ounces soda water
1      orange slice and cherry for garnish

PREPARATION

STEP 1

In a cocktail shaker, add ice, lemon juice, orange juice, and bourbon. Shake 20 seconds to chill.

STEP 2

Strain into Collins glass over fresh ice.

STEP 3

Top off with carbonated water.

STEP 4

Garnish with orange slice and cherry.

 

Red Snapper made with Camp Craft Lavender Lemonade

ACTIVE TIME: 4 Minutes
TOTAL TIME:  4 Minutes

Beware of the Red Snapper. Mint and amaretto elevate this whiskey infused cocktail and make it far too easy to reach for a second (or third).

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1)

1½    ounces Camp Craft Lavender Lemonade infused with whiskey
1     ounce amaretto
1     ounce cranberry juice
1     cocktail shaker filled with ice
1     glass of ice
1     Mint sprig for garnish

PREPARATION

STEP 1

In a cocktail shaker, add ice, and strained whiskey infused Lavender Lemonade

STEP 2

Add amaretto, and cranberry juice to cocktail shaker and shake to chill.

STEP 3

Strain into highball glass over fresh ice.

STEP 4

Garnish with mint sprig.
